If you run a pub or a club, you don’t need
us to tell you how important it is to have a decent glass washer.
Especially on those hectic weekend evenings when it’s hard
to keep up with demand!
No two glass washers are the same either, which
is why we keep a wide range in stock. All you have to do is tell
us a little about your business, and we’ll recommend the
best glass washer for your needs. To give you an idea we’ve
put together a brief guide together with a few things to bear
in mind if you’re considering buying a glass washer.
A quick guide to glass washers
Most glass washers have a 2 minute wash cycle.
Basket sizes vary however, so ask yourself, roughly
how many glasses do you need to wash an hour?
The majority of glass washers drain naturally
by gravity, but this means they need to be fitted above drain
height. Alternatively, our specialist engineers can fit your new
machine with a drain pump. If you have any questions about fitting
or where to put your glass washer simply give us a call.
Do you live in a moderate or hard water area?
If so, we’d recommend you use a water softener to get the
best results from your glass washer and to protect against lime
scale. Extras like these are all part of the Dishwashers Direct
service, and we’ll be happy to discuss the options with
you. For instance, some glass washers come fitted with integral
water softeners or you can add a manual water softener.
We can supply glass washers with the following
size baskets:
350 x 350 holds 12-14 pint glasses
370 x 370 holds 14-16 pint glasses
400 x 400 holds 16-20 pint glasses
450 x 450 holds up to 25 pint glasses
500 x 500 holds up to 30 pint glasses
If you’re not sure which size would suit
you best why not give us a call for some advice, we don’t
charge for being helpful! In our experience, a busy pub would
need a 400 x 400mm basket, but these things vary of course.
