FLIGHT DISHWASHERS
Flight dishwashers are used by large institutions such as hospitals,
where kitchens may have to cater for hundreds of people in one
sitting. The dishwasher is made up of sections, for pre-washing,
washing and drying, so they can get through a vast amount of washing
up very quickly – up to 7000 pieces of crockery an hour.

As well as the volume of washing up they can handle, flight dishwashers
are also very hygienic. This is because washing up is loaded onto
a conveyor-style belt at one end of the dishwasher, which then
automatically moves through the different sections, for pre-washing,
washing and drying. In other words, flight dishwashers reduce
the amount that washing up is touched by human hands, limiting
the possibility of cross infection etc. As you can appreciate,
hygiene is paramount in any kitchen, especially when that kitchen
is catering for huge numbers of people.
Naturally, choosing the right machine is very important, both
in terms of performance and financially, which is why we offer
a free site inspection as part of our service. Our specially trained
surveyors will take a look around your kitchen and assess your
organisation’s needs, so we can give you advice based on
first hand knowledge of your day to day requirements, without
any obligation to buy.
